Catalyst Wedge W-02 Blue

Catalyst Wedges are handy tools for variety of arts and crafts: fusible paint and powder manipulation on glass, oil and acrylic painting and textured media application, ceramics, plaster, encaustics (they’re heat-resistant)—even baking and food crafting. These wedges are made of a pliable, FDA-approved silicone that’s resistant to solvents and easy to clean. They’re manufactured by the Princeton Brush Company.

The wedge W-02 (blue) is a wonderful wedge whose teeth come to fine, flexible points, allowing you draw a swath of beautiful thin lines in paint, thin powders, even icing. You can make an instant grid with two swipes of the wedge, or create flowing curves by angling the wedge as you move it.
