Silicon Carbide 36-Grit Jar

This one-pound jar of graded Silicon Carbide grit is perfect for hand-working your glass surface so that it's rough enough to grip and hold chalks and paints. For chalks, the 36-grit works almost as well as tack-fusing powder to the glass surface. Material can be saved and re-used, although after working, it will be a slightly smaller grit size as a result of all the abrasion. Be sure to wear a protective mask when working with this or any powder. It's not a toxic material, but still, you don't want to breathe it into your lungs.
